Carys Davies

Carys has been a student at The Forge for around 4 years and has performed alongside me in the past. She has been an erotic model for around a year, and has taken up boxing, as well as studying for a degree and being a single mum. She is walking proof that women can be strong, independent AND sexy.

Carys has been my apprentice instructor for around two years, helping with group classes and offering tips on exotic pole. She is now more than ready to lead her own classes and excited to help women find their own empowerment. 

ABOUT ME

Martine Conway

With an interest in Performance and Performance Art spanning over 10 years, I have been a qualified fitness instructor since 2014. I am a single mum of 4, and I'm also currently studying a BSc in Psychology and Counselling Services.

I became interested in fitness and body conditioning after I broke my back in my late 20s, in an attempt to ensure as easy a rehabilitation as possible. My injury inspired me to commit to working on my own strength and conditioning, which in turn had a monumental part in improving my mental resilience at a difficult time in my life. This drive to care for my own body and mind developed into a want to help others on this journey too. I work to offer fitness sessions that are adapted to the learner in order to create a safe, relaxed and enjoyable environment for my students, and encourage them to try new things, find their own strength and most importantly, have fun.

SESSIONS

An array of different workout sessions are offered at The Forge's large home studio, which is furnished with 2-3 Xpoles depending on group size, yoga equipment including mats and blocks, exercise ball, and a variety of weights.

The Forge has also recently welcomed Carys Davies to the family, our new exotic pole instructor - which means pole classes can now be offered with a focus towards fitness with Martine, or towards something sexier with Carys!

Sessions are available on a 1:1 or group basis and are priced as follows:

Groups of 4+ people: £5 per person per hour

Groups of 2-3 people: £10 per person per hour

One to one classes: £15 per hour

Body weight resistance, balance, flexibility, and calisthenics training offered at a level to suit the client.

A combination of exercises from the floor and on the pole, using elements of pole dancing to improve strength.

Exotic pole dancing classes offered by Carys. Bring your heels!

There will be opportunities for clients to be involved in a variety of performance pieces, the training for which will be offered for free. Book a class to get involved!
